She looks at herself in the mirror and groans. Who is this frumpy, out of shape woman? After a couple of children and twenty pounds, Anne doesn’t feel attractive anymore....

God designed women and put us on this earth to be ezers. We share the same calling, but our individuality and season bring a uniqueness to bear on the way that calling plays out in each of our lives. As ezers, we are uniquely...

Picture partnering as a dance. When you dance with a partner the old fashioned way, you are both moving together. The strength in the dance is that each of you has a different view and perspective....

Picture nurturing as two friends walking side-by-side. Walking together, we have the opportunity to get to know another. Sometimes we have to slow down to stay together; sometimes we have to pick up the pace to keep up with another....

Since we launched the Ezer study and began using a common language to discuss Biblical femininity, the question has been asked, "why do single women need to be concerned with being an ezer?" While it would be great if this was an uncommon concern...

It’s February now and her New Year’s resolutions have fallen by the wayside. She was so determined that things would be different this year. She would actually lose those extra pounds, start eating in a more healthy way, and begin exercising every day. ...

This past week in Fusion, our 5th and 6th grade ministry learned about symbols and the significance of symbols in our spiritual walk with Christ. We spoke of baptism being a symbol of our spiritual cleansing and new life with Christ. We spoke of communion...

As we have learned in the Forever teaching series, if we focus on Heaven then it will free us here. What does that look like though in real life?...

For three years I could not get a specific little nursing home in my town of Fountain Inn out of my mind. God put this nursing home on my heart but I kept ignoring Him with the excuse that I didn’t have time....

Her daughter is upset because the party was postponed; by the way she’s acting, you would think the whole world had ended!...

Have you ever had a friend who is clearly taking the wrong path in life? She is a believer in Jesus but she seems to have lost her way. You see a train wreck ahead but you hesitate to say anything. ...

It started when she began to complain that her husband disappeared without telling her. That was when we began to “know” Alzheimer’s—the enemy of a complete life. The anger is amazing, the guilt is deep, and the sadness is deeper. These feelings haunt our minds...
