30 May Grace City Church | Update
As we move forward towards the church plant of Grace City Church in Charleston, South Carolina, we are continually grateful for the growth and commitment of those from Greenville who are choosing to step out in faith. We currently have 32 people committed to move to Charleston from Greenville and another 30 people praying and considering.
On May 16, we held another interest meeting and will continue to hold meetings up until the launch. With Charleston being the second largest city in the state, and with over 40 people moving there every day, we are excited and expectant to experience the life change that will follow this church plant.
“There are 43 people moving to the Charleston area every day and if all of them decided to go to church one Sunday there wouldn’t be near enough room. Hundreds of thousands of people don’t have a connection to a local church in the Charleston area and we’re excited to play a role.” -Matt Williams
The people of Grace City Church will begin directing energy towards specific needs as we move towards the 2018 launch. We ask that you join us in prayer for the following needs:
• A strong core group in Charleston to begin forming and rallying around Grace City Church.
• Older families to commit to be a part of the church plant.
• Our summer interest meeting that will be held in Charleston.
“Years ago, God began pressing on my heart the desire to leave what is comfortable, for the sake of the gospel. He has made it clear to us that we are called to move and help reach a city that may need a healthy local church like Grace City Church.” –The Krauses
