12 Sep Meet the Interns | Cultor House 2018-2019
Each year from August to May, Grace Church offers an internship called Cultor House. The internship provides recent college graduates with the opportunity to learn and work in the ministry structure, while also gaining experience in another part-time job. Interns also receive teaching and instruction from Grace Church pastors and staff. Keep reading to learn more about our four Cultor House interns.
Margaret Ann Henderson
Where are you from? Mt. Pleasant, SC
What school did you graduate from? Clemson University! Go Tigers!
What was your major? Secondary Education and History
What ministry will you be working with? Grace Church Kids, Central
Where else will you be working? I am nannying two sweet boys!
What’s one fun or interesting fact about you? I love to travel and have a bucket list goal to visit every region of the world (SE Asia, Central Asia, Eastern Europe, Central America, etc.)
Elise Denney
Where are you from? Rock Hill, SC
What school did you graduate from? Clemson University
What was your major? Elementary Education
What ministry will you be working with? Grace Church Students at our Greer campus
Where else will you be working? Parkside Pediatrics
What’s one fun or interesting fact about you? I love outer space and consider the solar eclipse last summer may have been the best day of my life. I gave my roommates a brief 45-minute presentation on what to expect before it happened.

What was your major? Mass Communications and Nonprofit Management

What’s one fun or interesting fact about you? I have an irrational fear of killer whales.
Sully Pierce
Where are you from? Asheville, North Carolina
What school did you graduate from? The University of North Carolina at Asheville
What was your major? Mathematics
What ministry will you be working with? Grace Church Students (Forge), Pelham Campus
Where else will you be working? I am also working for Grace Church Facilities and a construction cleanup company, Angry Goat.
What’s one fun or interesting fact about you? I love to hike, camp, run, or do anything outside!
