Osborn House Building

Between work and family, it takes discipline to find time to read the Scriptures, discipline that at times we all lack. But this difficulty is an option we have the blessing to struggle through. In 2011 Joseph and Elizabeth Osborn moved their family to Papua New Guinea. In an island nation of 7 million people, there are roughly 836 languages represented.

“490 languages have no translation of the Bible.”

Some don’t have even have a written language. The Osborn’s mission is to move into the tribal area, learn the local language using the trade language, and translate the Bible for a people with no access to the Gospel. Grace has come alongside the Osborns and “sent” them as representatives of our church to take on this mission and bring the Gospel to a people without access to it.

Part of Grace’s partnership with the Osborns involves helping them meet physical needs while living in Papua New Guinea. Right now the Osborns have a specific need–a house! They are seeking to build a home with running water, a solar electric system, a stove, a home school room, and other basic necessities to help them live in Papua New Guinea. Please take a minute to watch the video above and consider helping the Osborns by supporting them financially. If you would like to give, please go to our Online Giving Page and specify “Osborn House Building” in the memo line. For more information about the Osborn mission visit their website here.
